The HMYC AGM takes place on Saturday 4 June, and it is imperative that all current members attend.  Please could you consider nominations for the various committees, and send through to me asap.

The 2010/11 Prize Giving will follow the AGM, and thereafter there will be a dinner prepared by Debbie.  Please could you RSVP to her before 1 June.

Have just returned from the Club. Perfect afternoon with a light north easterly about 4/5 knots. I set the usual course for these conditions but as it was light

kept it short in case of the wind failing altogether. But all 6 yachts finished comfortably & reasonably close together.

Jeremy Bellengere was outstanding sailing his own design “Nondescipt” J.B.20. Starting late he set about overtaking the fleet & just pipped Peter Metcalfe

In his Hunter by 20 secs!!!!! Peter led from the start & romped away from the other 2 Hunters & the two Extra’s. It was a very enjoyable race & my

appreciation to Brenda Tarboton & Roger Eshmade with running the event.
