Poor weather bringing on a poor turnout,Race officers Rob Mac assisted by Louis had bad weather and an unusual Southerly wind to contend with.As they were not keen on staying out in that sort of weather 3 short back to back races were sailed.There were only 4 Hunters and the regular xtras of Rob Tarbie and Mark Patrick.
Race 1 saw Essex ahead chased down by Odin and Smoke and Oakem (Ant Macmillan and Byron Watt)Unfortunately bad news not showing for the first race.
2nd and third races saw Odin back in old form .Getting 2 bullets and thus winning the day and monthly mug.Bad news getting 2 seconds doing very well to recover from a terrible start on the third,Smokin also pipping Essex on the 2 races.
Monthly mug won by Odin followed closely by Rob on his extra,
George Duffin really turning into a close one now with Bad news and essex on level points and also no average points to collect as neither have done a race duty.So all to sail for on April fools day the last of the Georg Duffin series.Bad news level with Essex but ahead on the number of firsts;very exciting stuff!!
