Saturday 18 September Partington Plate #1 . Briefing 13h30.
First event of the Partington PLate series.
These races/cruises are of medium/longer distance and open to ALL classes. Start is usually from the Jetty and then following a course around the outer cans on Midmar, dependant on the wind direction and weather conditions at the time of the start.
A perfect opportunity to get out on to the water in good company.For those of less competitive persuasion, the chance to hone sailing skills or simply get together with family and friends for a sail around the dam.
For the dinghies this can be a good test of stamina and skill, the Hunter Class usually makes up a good number of the fleet, with a few of the larger keelers shaking out their sails.
Come on the larger keeler fraternity.Get folk out on the water. Where are the Holiday 24's, the L26's, the Van De Stadts, the Mistrals, the Solings,the Microsails,the Pirates,etc,etc.
A word of warning..........Be on the lookout for "Lentil" on the start line with Odin at the helm !!!
