Not a bad turnout compared to others,2 extras and 2 Hunters and Georg and Clive on the soling.We now have 4 Solings on the Dam so come on guys time to battle it out with each other!!
I myself haven't been around much for the Partington Plates lately and only joined in at the end of the race.But was reminded of how lucky we are to have such a great place like midmar to sail on.Saturday could not have been much better or more pleasant to sail on with a nice constant breeze of around 8 to 10 knots and slightly overcast so not that hot.Just bought the sole Stadt on the dam and after Saturday I am going to try my best to join in the Saturday Partington fun races around the dam,We have plenty cruizers on the dam so this is the perfect time and reason to join in on a fan day's racing on the dam.
Race O was Anton and I believe the course was up to No 1 ,then 3 and 4 back to 1 then 4 ,6 and home .The Soling with Georg and Clive lead most of the way until Rob Tarbie on his extra finally got them,
Tim and Mathew are still leaders of the plate however with the last race bringing in a discard may allow Rob to take the lead .We will see how it pans out next month.
